The top picture is of Avro Lancaster ME 801 N – Nan2 proudly displaying her 100 bomb tallies and
the DFC.
The picture was taken at the Eastern end of Fiskertons main runway some time after the

Lancasters 100 operation to Dortmund on 12 March 1945.
This Lancaster, one of the four Lancaster centurions that 576 Squadron had on charge did at total
of 114 operations.

The bottom picture shows N – Nan2 again, this time with a Welsh leek painted on her nose. It is
not clear why this was painted on the Lancaster.
