The North American Aviation Harvard single engine trainer as issued to No. 37 Service Flying
Training School RAF Calgary. The original type known as the Texan was modified and designated
the Harvard II for RAF/RCAF orders and 1,173 were supplied by purchase or Lend Lease, mostly
operating in Canada as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
