Another Lancaster the crew did just one operation in was F - (Freddie or Fox) NX 652 on the 24
March 1945. This operation was the crew’s last, it being to the Oil refinery at Dortmund
Harpenerweg. The crew took off from Fiskerton at 12.55 pm and arrived back at 18.10pm.
173 Lancasters and 12 Mosquitos of No. 1, 6 and 8 Groups attacked the Harpenerweg plant at
Dortmund and the Mathias Stinnes plant at Bottrop. 3 Lancasters were lost on the Dortmund raid.
