RAF Fiskerton Dispersed Accommodation Sites
On Ferry Road the former WAAF site is now built on with new housing, as is Site: 12. As you pass
Hall Lane splitting off to the left and continue along Ferry Road you will come to Site: 3
(Communal) which is now a small industrial site. This site contains the former Officer and NCO’s
Mess with the NAFFI. Further down Site: 11 is now a builders yard. This and Site: 10 are
inaccessible, they are on private property.
Returning to Hall Lane you will eventually reach a bend in the road. Here to your left was the
airfields original entrance which is now an electrical substation. Opposite was the Intelligence
block (now a horse stable).Continue right along Hall road and to you left is Site: 4, the Ground
Staff Communal Site (behind the present day farm), this has a NAFFI and Gymnasium, (messing
for all ground staff was on Site: 3). The water tower (now demolished) is in the field between the
farm and the airfield. Accommodation for ground staff was also along this road. The Sick Quarters
are on the right some 500 yards along Hall Lane.
