Commander, Wing Commander Leonard Slee. On the fateful night of 23/24
September 1943 this Lancaster allocated to the ex 617 Squadron Dambuster crew of
Pilot Officer Cyril Anderson. In this aircraft the crew perished over the
German city of Mannheim.
