It was at Lindholme where the crew’s Flight Engineer would join them, he completing his training
on 4 engine Heavies at one of the Command’s flight tngineer training centres. The airman in this
picture (Extreme right) is Flight Sergeant J.W. Roberts, the crews wireless operator. Jack Ridge
(third from right) and Flying Officer H. Jolly, navigator (second from right). The identities of the
remaining four crew are not known.
