Main Force Lancaster war load consisting of 1x 4,000 Lb high capacity blast bomb (known to the
crews as a ʻCookieʼ) and 12 small bomb containers, each containing 236x4 Lb incendiaries.
This was John Ryan’s war load on that fateful night.
