Ken loved dogs and owned quite a few during his life, beginning with Buddy, during
his youth, Rex the Beagle and Lady the Lab, during his years with Ruth, and finally,
little Daisy, the Cock-a-Poo.

During his time in the Senior Citizen homes, Ken was well liked by all who met him
and is fondly remembered by many of the staffs at the Sunrise Senior Assisted
Living Home and at Union Villa home. Many thanks go to everyone at Union Villa
and the Markham-Stouffville Hospital who helped care for Ken in his last years
dealing with Alzheimer’s.

The memory of Ken will be kept dear to the hearts of all his family and those whose lives
he touched.

Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it
