One of the Lancasters propellers, minus a blade. A remarkable find considering this
propeller impacted the ground at speed. One can only assume this was from one of
the damaged Merlin's and therefore the propeller stopped having been feathered
when the aircraft impacted with the ground, the 3rd blade having been ripped from
the propeller boss on impact.
