Nash and Thompson FN 121 rear powered turret. This was Peters 'office' each night he was on
operations, sometimes sitting in this turret in minus 25 degree temperatures for as much as
8 hours or more. Even with his heated flying suit and gloves Peter would still have felt
the extreme cold.
The picture below shows the cramped position Peter had to endure whilst on operations.
