This picture taken post war shows earl (front row, 3 from right) with other air gunners, possibly at
RAF Elsham Wolds near Scunthorpe. Earl was posted to Elsham Wolds in May 1945 in
preparation for repatriation to Canada.
Some of the air gunners in this photograph belonged to 576 Squadron, the remainder are not on
576 Squadron operational records so one must assume they are from other
Bomber Command units.

The 576 Squadron air gunners that have been identified are:
