This picture shows Fiskerton’s watch office in the 1970’s prior to its demolition. The overgrown
mound to the right is a blast shelter, to its rear is the signals operations block. To the rear of the
watch office is the N.F.E store (possibly night flying equipment). The power line to the right follows
the line of the secondary runway 13-31. The bottom pcture shows the interior of the watch office
during the war years.
