           embarking for San Francisco. In the picture (Centre) is John Ryan, Front left is Walter Ronald
         ʻWalleyʼ, Searle. Front right is Kevin John O’Connor. Also in the picture but not identified is Peter
          Felix ʻPeteʼ Sattler and Leslie Walter ʻRichoʼ Richardson. Peter went with John to 576 Squadron
                      whilst Leslie went to 170 Squadron at RAF Hemswell, North Lincolnshire.
