Lancaster LM 227 I – Item2 seen here taking off on operations to Düsseldorf from
RAF Fiskerton. I – Item would go on to be one of the Squadron Centurions
completing 100 sorties. The Squadron had four Centurions on charge during 1944 to
1945.Of the 7,379 Lancaster airframes were produced by the Avro Group of
Companies only 35 completed 100 or more operations.
