This photograph showing the Luftwaffe airfield at Deelen, to the North of Arnhem by
a photographic spitfire from RAF Benson in Oxfordshire shows extensive cratering to
the airfield. This severely degraded the Luftwaffe from operating from this airfield as
the British Army continued its offensive operations against the German forces
in the Netherlands.
