These documents from the squadron’s Operational Record Book show details of the
crew’s that took part in that nights operations. The crew of Flying Officer J. H.
Richards with a second pilot on board (Flying Officer B. J. Marks) was also failed to
return to Elsham Wolds. Only Sergeant G. Evans (possibly the crew’s navigator)
survived and was taken into captivity.
