This, the airfield B1 type hangar was severely damaged by fire in the late 1970’s and
demolished by the landowners. The two T2 type hangars had been demolished
some years earlier. Sadly due to vandalism resulting in possible health and safety
liability left the landowner with no option but to demolish the rest of the
airfields buildings.
