This picture taken in 1956 shows the secondary runway with its head at 13. Behind
the farmers can be seen the airfield’s abandoned technical site, from left to right can
be seen the roof of one of the hangars then the squadron offices then to its right the
aircrew locker and rest room. The large building see length on is the lubricant and
Inflammables store. If the viewer looks directly above the head of the station armoury
with the maintenance block behind it (the building with the peaked roof).
