This Lancaster was lost on the evening of 16/17 March 1945 when it went to
Nuremburg. 24 Lancasters were shot down, all from No. 1 Group out of a total of 276
Lancasters dispatched by No. 1 and 5 Groups. This attack on Nuremburg was the
last heavy raid on the city by Bomber Command.
