Walter and the crew’s Pilot Alan Bodger were, after being screened from further air operations
posted to 83 Operational Training Unit at RAF Peplow, Shropshire to train novice crew’s. It is
probable they remained here until wars end. Pilot Officer Roberts from the same crew was posted
as Instructor to 30 Operational Training Unit, RAF Hixon, Staffordshire.
