The crew of Flight Sergeant Sayers
Jack, posted to the Squadrons ̔ B ̓ Flight flew this, his first operation with 576
Squadron on 10 April 1945. The target that night, the German town of Plauen.

Jack temporally replaced the crews Flight Engineer (who was also a qualified Pilot)
on this operation, Flight Sergeant John Cormack.
Jack did three operations with the Sayers crew, the other seven operations with the
crew of Flight Lieutenant Halnan.
