Two pictures taken by Martin Nicholls showing (top picture) the fire tender shelter
and to the top left of the picture the Avro B1 hangar,(and below) the night flying
equipment store.

It is believed this building was used to store the airfield ancillary equipment, possibly
the oil lamps used to guide aircraft to their dispersals.
