A letter to the family describes how Bill and another Australian (Sgt Colin Martin) travelled to
Niagara Falls while they were staying in Toronto. They returned to Toronto at 4pm and after a brief
recovery then travelled to the 2B&GS Mossbank Site via an overnight rail connection. Their
journey was going to be about 2600 km. According to the letter their train left Toronto at 11pm

Monday 8 March 1943. It was going to be yet another interminably long transit!
