            Bill was part of the No 67 Air Bombers course of approximately 30 trainees. We are fortunate to
           have not only a photo of the AOS aircrew trainees but also an extract of the Edmonton AOS site
               newspaper (“The Observer”) which briefly describes many of the individuals. There were five
          Australians and two New Zealanders in the group. Others came from Canada, the UK, the U.S.A.
           plus Bernard “Ichy” Inachin (not present in the photo below) who was from southwestern Russia.

              In Bill’s writing the individuals in his training group are identified by nationality as follows:

              C = Canadian; A = Australian, N = Norwegian; E = English; I = Irish; NZ = New Zealand;
